Job Summary:

Job Summary:

  • The Assistant Manager, Performance Marketing will report to the Manager, Performance Marketing and will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day management of performance marketing initiatives for the Japan market. You will be supporting the execution of initiatives across various performance marketing channels (paid/owned).
  • To succeed in this role, you should have strong knowledge of digital media marketing and experience managing multiple projects at once. We are looking for a team player with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

 Responsibilities:

  • Provide support across Growth Marketing Initiatives:
    • Provide support to Performance Marketing Manager with the ongoing management / optimization of digital campaigns and test programs across performance marketing channels, including the monitoring of local channel trends
    • Assist in the project management of local Performance Marketing initiatives working with internal and external stakeholders in ensuring timely delivery and launch
    • Assist in delivering against target CPA and subscriber acquisition volumes
  • Performance Marketing Campaign Management:
    • Able to gather and define project requirements and adapt in a fast-changing environment with a degree of flexibility
    • Assist in the monthly planning of Performance Marketing campaign priorities and ensure all campaign requirements for respective channels are adhered to
    • Work with the creative and channel teams to prepare all campaign assets, and ensure approval for distribution and trafficking as per planned dates
  • Collaboration:
    • Work with wider marketing teams internally to integrate growth marketing initiatives with broader marketing plans
    • Support the Growth Marketing team in partnering with regional and global teams on sharing of best practices and plans
    • Record minutes of global calls, and follow up on key action points
  • Reporting:
    • Manage weekly local and regional reporting, as required

Desired Qualifications:

  • 3+ years’ experience in related marketing roles
  • Proven experience within digital media and programmatic platforms
  • Marketing Strategy and Operations: A fundamental understanding of best-practice across programmatic digital, from customer identification and segmentation, to strategic planning, campaign implementation, measurement and optimization.
  • Teamwork and Time-Management: Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment, working at pace, with multiple stakeholders (local and international), managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Native level fluency in Japanese and business level English
