DISNEY SOURCING COMPLIANCE & OPERATIONS is part of the Disney Experiences division and functions within the Parks Product Development & Retail (PPDR) organization. The PPDR organization is passionate about product design & strategy, merchandise sourcing, and supply chain management. Through these centers of excellence, we deliver high quality, innovative product that is responsibly sourced to consumers in retail channels around the world, while providing an outstanding guest experience. The Sourcing Compliance & Operations team leads the supplier lifecycle for the Disney Parks and Disney Stores retail locations. The team coordinates the onboarding, exiting, licensing, compliance, and sustainable manufacturing of these suppliers.

What You Will Do

As the Supply Chain Visibility (SCV) Analyst-Project- (12 month assignment) Hire you will be responsible for assisting with the management of the Disney Parks and Disney Stores supplier mapping and traceability process. The SCV Analyst will partner with cross functional teams both within Disney and across multiple third parties, including Legal, Sourcing, Trade Management, ILS, and suppliers to manage and mitigate supply chain risk. The SCV Analyst will collect complete and accurate relationship data surrounding the manufacturing supply chain and will lead material and product traceability to drive compliance with Disney policies and global laws and regulations.

  • Operationalize the supplier mapping and product traceability process.
  • Manage the new supplier SCV onboarding process working with internal teams and suppliers to ensure all steps of the process are complete.
  • Collection and maintenance of supply chain visibility data and pertinent information.
  • Leverage supplier mapping and data to generate reports and insights for partners and executives.
  • Collaborate with the technology team to provide specifications and validation of technology solutions for both internal and external applications.
  • Support internal prioritization and sequencing discussions related to product traceability, including which use cases and material value chains will be addressed with which priority.
  • Review documentation associated with shipments/customs declaration for upstream materials.
  • Manage/assist with a variety of concurrent projects and tasks as needed.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in supply chain compliance.
  • Strong business, quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Diligence in planning, organization, and execution of tasks, while still seeing the big picture and understanding how all the pieces fit together and affect one another.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to convey complex information in a simple, and easily understood manner.
  • Lead collaboration across diverse teams within large, global organizations and inspire confidence to motivate groups collectively to meet common objectives.
  • Interact with all levels, partnering, facilitating, and influencing.
  • Ability to create strong and meaningful relationships with partners including internal teams, suppliers, and other third parties to lead change.
  • Knowledge of both upstream material value chains and fulfillment operations, including what happens at each tier of manufacturing.
  • Experience with corporate responsibility and sustainable manufacturing.
  • Ability to work and deliver in changing environments, under limited guidance while adhering to specified deadlines.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and time management skills with ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
  • Ability and desire to be flexible, adapt to change and grow with the organization.
  • Ability to standardize and streamline workflows and processes with existing and new tools.
  • Ability to pull and assimilate data from multiple systems.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, database management and TEAMS.
  • Moderate skills in Office 365 suite of tools, Smartsheet, Power Apps, DocuSign.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain compliance.
